Plain-language summary: Property details, costs, contacts and photos stay in the browser on your device. OwnersLog does not receive them through the product. Payment and support providers receive only the information needed to process those services. The public marketing pages use Google Analytics; the product itself contains no analytics or tracking of any kind.

Information stored on your device

OwnersLog stores your property record in browser storage. Photos are stored separately in your browser's local media database. This information is not uploaded to OwnersLog. Anyone with access to your device or browser profile may be able to access it unless you use device security and OwnersLog's optional passphrase screen.

Payments and support

When you purchase a membership, the payment provider may collect your name, email address, billing information, transaction details, tax location and payment credentials under its own privacy terms. OwnersLog does not receive or store complete card details. If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to send.

Analytics and advertising

The public OwnersLog marketing pages use Google Analytics, so we can see how people find and read the site — which pages are visited, and roughly where visitors come from. It is the only analytics or tracking service OwnersLog uses.

It does not run inside the product. There is no analytics, tracking or third-party script on the app, the sign-in page or these legal pages. Google Analytics therefore never sees your property record, photos, costs or contacts — those stay on your device, as described above.

Where it does run, Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and receives your approximate location derived from your IP address, the pages you view, and basic device and browser information, all under Google's own privacy terms. You can prevent this using your browser's cookie or tracking settings, a content blocker, or Google's official opt-out browser add-on.

OwnersLog does not use advertising trackers and does not run advertising on the site. The website may also receive ordinary technical request information from its hosting provider, such as IP address, date, browser type and requested page, for security and service operation.

Retention and deletion

You control the property record stored on your device. You may delete properties inside the product or clear the browser's site data. Payment and support records may be retained as required for accounting, fraud prevention, legal compliance and customer service.

Your choices

You may request access to or correction of personal information held by OwnersLog, subject to applicable law. Requests can be sent to support. Clearing local data is permanent unless you have a backup.

Security and children

No storage method is perfectly secure. Use a secured device, keep backups in a safe location and do not store unnecessary sensitive information. OwnersLog is intended for adults managing property and is not directed to children.
